Description: Founded in 1990, Leidenfrost Vineyards was one of the first Finger Lakes wineries to feature a broad spectrum of red wines, including Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Baco Noir. We also produce great Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Cayuga White, Catawba and Niagara wines. Note: Contrary to a comment on maps.google.com, this vineyard is not permanently closed. We spoke to the owner on April 27, 2011 and the vineyard & winery is definitely still in business.
